CSI Recruiting is working with a privately held oil and gas exploration and production company seeking a Senior Landman to focus on the company’s assets throughout the Rockies and Mid-Continent. The role will have significant autonomy while also working within a team of experienced E&P professionals and will report to the EVP of Land and Business Development.
Responsibilities
- Manage, acquire and negotiate Land and Lease Assets
- Management of Contracts, JOAs and Agreements
- Perform Title review
- Function as the primary liaison between Company and landowners
- Manage GIS Mapping projects
- Perform permitting and regulatory compliance
- Engage and manage 3rd party consultants as needed to perform field work
- In tandem with the engineering, geoscience and business development teams, perform asset evaluation and acquisition due diligence
- Work closely and directly with management and operations to provide support for field assets
- Experience with BLM and State Agencies required
Requirements
- Ideal candidates will have 6 to 12+ years as an in-house Landman within an active exploration and production company with an emphasis on assets within the Rockies and Mid-Continent
- BS in Energy Management, Business, Law or related field
- Ability to work on projects with limited supervision. Seeking a self-starter and high ethics professional with a robust upstream oil & gas network
