Senior Land Surveyor/Project DirectorBrighton Solutions is a leader in Engineering Search and we are currently seeking a leader in Land Survey to join the team of a well established Civil Engineering firm near Hartford, CT.We are seeking an individual that can either help lead or aspire to lead a land surveying practice. In this role, you will have a number of Land Survey crews that you would help manage while working closely with other disciplines providing engineering services across the organization. Opportunities exist to move into a Director role.When taking on this role, you will be joining an established, well respected and productive team supporting southern New England (CT / RI / MA). Types of surveying work that has been conducted include: boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction stakeout, as-built surveys. and digital surface modeling.You will be working with crews, chiefs, and internal and external leadership and the ability to communicate effectively will be critical. We are seeking an individual with a minimum of:Minimum of five years in a supervisory role.Licensed Land Surveyor (MA, CT or RI ideal, however any state licensure would be accepted) - PLS preferredSolid Civil 3D softwareComplete understanding of field survey methods and proceduresPeriodically, you may need to serve as crew chiefAbility to multi-task, detail-oriented, and strong organizational skillsAssociate's degree in Land Surveying or related field required. Bachelor's degree a plus.Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
