Senior Java Software Engineer

Overview: Seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join a team focused on developing and enhancing features within the Supply Chain domain of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This senior-level role will be responsible for application development, issue resolution, and maintaining system integrity while supporting business-critical operations
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop software applications based on approved designs
* Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues
* Correct system problems as directed by management
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and according to specifications
* Use standard coding techniques to ensure application performance meets requirements
* Collaborate with team members throughout the software development lifecycle
* Maintain and enhance ERP Supply Chain applications
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* 8-12 years of software development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Proven experience with structured application development and change control processes
* Strong background in object-oriented analysis and design
* Solid understanding of database design, programming languages, and coding best practices
* Minimum 5 years of enterprise application development experience delivering Java-based solutions in large enterprise environments
* Experience with SDLC best practices and version control tools such as Git
* Experience deploying applications in cloud environments
* Good understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
