Hybrid Role in Hartford, Connecticut, United States

Contract Role - Open for C2C , W2 OR 1099

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Integration Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java , Spring Boot , Microservices architecture , and integration services , along with a strong understanding of design patterns and scalable software architecture . You will play a key role in designing and developing robust, scalable systems that integrate seamlessly across platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot .
• Architect and implement integration solutions for internal and third-party services (e.g., REST, SOAP, MQ, Kafka).
• Apply design patterns and best practices in coding, architecture, and integration strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build and maintain APIs and service contracts for integration with front-end and external systems.
• Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Participate in architectural discussions, design reviews, and contribute to improving technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple systems and environments.
• Document system designs, integration flows, and technical specifications.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud ecosystem.
• In-depth knowledge of Microservices architecture and service orchestration.
• Experience designing and implementing Integration Services (RESTful APIs, message brokers like Kafka/RabbitMQ, file-based integrations, etc.).
