DhakaTechnologies Limited is hiring on behalf of a client, a District of Columbiagovernment agency, that will be modernizing its Enterprise Application"Destiny" project to leverage new digital technologies such as cloudcomputing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and mobile that arerequired to create a modern experience for the agency’s customers and partners.Modernizing the Enterprise Application Destiny helps the agency improve itsservices to citizens and enhance government operations while strengthening theoverall data security. To address these challenges, the client team is lookingto hire highly skilled individuals to rapidly connect the Enterprise DestinyApplication with modern technology while minimizing disruption to the existingsystems.
Role Description
The role willrequire you to design, develop, and test using Java technologies which willfacilitate application development and implementation from development to QA toproduction. You will work to gain an understanding of the current systeminfrastructure, security needs, network considerations, and methodologies.
In this role,you will primarily focus on Java programming and supporting the ecosystem forthe organization.
Responsibilities
The SeniorJava Developer position requires in-depth knowledge of Java and J2EE backgroundusing Spring Technologies framework, design, and architectural styles / APIs(REST/RPC) and Agile methodologies for the development of application programs.The Senior Developer will be writing clean, scalable code using Javaprogramming languages, refactor and debug code, improve existing software,test, and deploy applications and systems. The resource will be required todevelop documentation throughout the lifecycle of the development process andprovide technical support to the team.
- Ensure that the technologies are updated with current, stable,and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design andarchitecture.
- Develop, test, and deploy applications and systems.
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug code.

- Proactively monitor and report performance utilization ofassigned technologies.
