Responsibilities
- Provide technical system solutions and determine the overall design
- Develop and support modules and subsystems of the intranets
- Document system requirements
- Attend project meetings and communicate technical design points
- Develop and document highly complex application programs
- Generate code and correct, convert, and/or modify existing code to meet specifications
- Consult with system architects to analyze specified methods and procedures
- Identify problems, and document specific requirements
- Perform a variety of testing procedures, analyze test results, and correct problems
- Provide technical assistance to less experienced personnel in the resolution of systems related problems. Self‑managed with the ability to mentor others.
Required Skills
- Experience developing Java–based web applications
- Experience developing complex web sites, workflows, and automated solutions in Java
- Ability to assist in gathering, consolidating, and prioritizing functional requirements and identifying/implementing technical solutions
- Struts development to include general Java Web Development, Java/J2EE, and JSP
- Experience working with Oracle, SQL and Web development tools
- Knowledge of Websphere Application Server development / integration with Content Management System (CMS)
- Strong coding and debugging skills
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- A knack of working well both in a team and independent high pressured environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly effective at exchanging information clearly and concisely

- Skill: Websphere Application Server dev J2EE, JSP, web appl
