Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 12+ years of software development experience to design, develop, integrate, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, SQL, Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

The candidate will work closely with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other development teams to build highly scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Develop scalable and fault-tolerant applications using Java 8/11/17/21.
• Build and maintain Spring Boot-based microservices.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and service-to-service integrations.
• Implement secure APIs using Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
• Develop event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
• Design Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, and message-processing workflows.
• Work with relational databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integration logic.
• Use Hibernate/JPA for database persistence and ORM.
• Analyze application performance and perform query, JVM, API, and code-level optimization.
• Develop reusable, clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Implement logging, monitoring, error handling, and application observability.
• Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerize applications using Docker.
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
• Prepare technical documentation, design documents, API specifications, and deployment documentation.
