Senior Java Developer

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade Java applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Develop scalable web applications using Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or MyBatis.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
• Develop responsive front‑end components using JavaScript, JSP, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
• Work with NoSQL databases to support scalable and high‑volume applications.
• Develop cloud‑native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Kubernetes.
• Implement multithreaded applications using Java concurrency libraries, including the Executor Framework.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and application optimization.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Maven.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Java/J2EE application development.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Hibernate, or MyBatis.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, JSP, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DB2, including complex SQL query development and database performance optimization.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, DocumentDB, or MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of SQL database design and data modeling.
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, and AJAX technologies.
• Experience implementing multithreading using Java concurrency libraries, particularly the Executor Framework.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerized application deployment and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with application performance tuning and cloud‑native application development.
