Senior Java Backend & DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend & DevOps Engineer to join a team responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise applications and platform infrastructure. This role combines hands-on software engineering with operational ownership and requires an individual who is equally comfortable building scalable backend services and supporting modern cloud-native environments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Java development experience, modern DevOps expertise, and a passion for delivering reliable, production-ready applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support enterprise software applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures
• Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code following Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide operational support for critical applications
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software enhancements and new functionality

Platform & Operations Responsibilities

• Support Linux-based environments and perform system administration activities
• Develop and maintain shell scripts and automation tools
• Deploy and manage applications using modern DevOps practices
• Utilize infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability of applications and supporting infrastructure
• Participate in deployment, release management, and environment support activities

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot development
• Experience with Microservices Architecture
• Knowledge of Python development
• Experience with Concurrent Programming concepts
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Test Driven Development (TDD) experience
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
