This role is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and highly available application environments by applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices to improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

What You Will Be DoingManage application environments by monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and deploying code changes to ensure stable performance, prevent outages, and maintain service levels Review performance and growth trends and make recommendations to improve efficiency, stability, and data integrity Apply advanced administration and troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex technical issues Mentor, coach and support IT staff to strengthen technical capabilities and assist with complex assignments. Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual effort and achieve process standardization Define and implement application administration standards to ensure SOX compliance Conduct risk assessments related to the development and maintenance of IT security functions to ensure information availability, integrity, and compliance Develop and maintain documentation supporting system maintenance, change management, and recovery procedures Evaluate and test backup and recovery processes to ensure application and data integrity and recoverability Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their relevance for business use Research, recommend, and implement technology enhancements and new solutions Maintain deep knowledge of cloud architecture, including how database and application design decisions impact performance, reliability, and operating costs
