Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join an enterprise application development team. This position will focus on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications using Java, Spring, Angular, and related technologies.
The ideal candidate will have strong object-oriented programming skills, experience developing enterprise applications, and the ability to work independently while providing technical guidance to other team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level web applications.
- Develop and maintain application components using Java, Spring, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Analyze technical issues, research solutions, and troubleshoot application problems.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, bug verification, and release support.
- Participate in application design and technical solution development.
- Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Assist with technical planning and provide input on development approaches.
- Lead or coordinate development activities when needed.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and development tools.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders on technical discussions and demonstrations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less-experienced developers.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and meeting project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java and enterprise-level web application development.
- Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework.
- Experience developing single-page applications using Angular.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience working with JSON and XML for data transfer and binding.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex application issues and develop effective solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with UI component libraries such as PrimeNG.
- Experience writing SQL queries.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Experience with Maven.
- Experience with Jenkins/CI/CD tools.
- Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring other developers.
Work Authorization
This is a 100% onsite position in Richfield, Ohio .
