Senior IT Project ManagerLocation: Sacramento, CA (Onsite)Experience: 15+ YearsDuration: 2+ Years ContractHealthcare Experience (Medicare/Medicaid): PlusKey Responsibilities:Align project portfolios with departmental goals and federal funding requirements.Lead large-scale, complex IT initiatives across the full SDLC.Mature and enhance Enterprise PMO methodologies, including portfolio prioritization and cross-program alignment.Centralize project management services to manage enterprise-level risks, issues, and change controls.Define and implement standardized PM processes, procedures, and best practices.Provide executive-level visibility into portfolio-wide risks and impacts.Required Qualifications:Active PMP certification from PMI (must submit PDF or digital credential).15+ years of overall experience, including:7+ years of comprehensive Project Management experience.4+ years leading large, complex IT projects.Strong experience collaborating with executive stakeholders.Deep understanding of PM principles, tools, and methodologies across the SDLC.Nice to Have:Experience in Healthcare, specifically Medicare/Medicaid programs.Prior work with California state agencies.
