Sr. IT Project Manager – Cybersecurity PortfolioLocation: Washington, DC (Remote – onsite meetings as required) Type: ContractAbout the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Sr. IT Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within the FEP Cybersecurity Portfolio for one of the nation's leading healthcare organizations.
This role involves managing complex cybersecurity programs that protect sensitive data, strengthen information systems, and ensure compliance across enterprise platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity-related projects — including IAM, Information Security, Data Protection, DLP, and Application Security initiatives.Oversee project planning, execution, risk management, and delivery to ensure successful outcomes.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, security architects, vendors, and stakeholders to meet organizational goals.Manage project budgets ranging from $1M–$5M.Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and ensure alignment with business objectives.Drive adherence to governance standards and best practices.Required Skills & Experience10+ years of IT Project Management experience with proven success managing large-scale initiatives.Strong background in Cybersecurity project management – IAM, DLP, Application Security, or Information Security domains are a must.Experience managing enterprise projects with multiple stakeholder groups.Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Healthcare industry experience is a plus.PMP certification preferred.
