To ensure the integrity and performance of technical architecture, the full-time Senior IT Operations Center Engineer will plan, install, monitor, and maintain infrastructure software and hardware while providing technical support and recommending new system products in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for optimal availability and performance Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and application software while ensuring security and backup strategies Provide second and third-level technical support, troubleshoot network issues, and liaise with vendors for problem resolution Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in a hosting environment Five years of related work experience, including expertise in Linux operating systems and cloud environments, preferably AWS Experience with monitoring systems and automation software, as well as scripting skills in languages such as shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, or Python Knowledge of SAN/NAS infrastructure and backup systems, with familiarity in networking concepts like OSI layers and TCP/IP Proven ability to analyze and solve complex logical problems in computing systems
