Automating IT operations, the full-time Senior IT Operations Engineer will manage the joiner/mover/leaver lifecycle, oversee Jira Service Management configurations, and partner with various departments to enhance operational efficiencies in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Automate the joiner/mover/leaver lifecycle across multiple platforms, focusing on deprovisioning to mitigate audit exposure Design and implement automation solutions using Okta Workflows, Google Apps Script, and Python, ensuring robust version control and error handling Manage the IT service queue in Jira Service Management, including request types, routing rules, and SLA logic to improve support capacity Required qualifications Proven experience in automating IT and identity operations within a SaaS environment Hands-on administration experience with Okta, including lifecycle management and SCIM provisioning Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language, with strong Google Workspace administration skills Experience building multi-step, event-driven flows in integration platforms, with knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles, preferably using Terraform or equivalent tools
