Leading the administration and operational stability of core infrastructure platforms, the remote Senior IT Manager - Infrastructure will manage teams supporting Windows, Linux, AIX, and enterprise storage while ensuring systems are secure, highly available, and compliant with business and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of infrastructure teams, ensuring high availability and reliability of services through proactive monitoring and incident management Supervise and develop system administrators and engineers, focusing on performance feedback, career development, and team planning Oversee lifecycle management for servers and storage platforms, maintaining operational readiness for backup and disaster recovery capabilities Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in applications development, analysis, or engineering, or a High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including administration or engineering across multiple enterprise server platforms 3+ years of leadership or management experience in a technical environment Demonstrated experience with Windows Server, Linux, AIX, enterprise storage, and backup platforms Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, platform hardening, and disaster recovery processes
