Senior IT Engineer – DevOps
Location: Phoenix AZ
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 6+ months with high visibility for extension

US Citizen/ GC and GC EAD
This position will align with the DevOps teams, will leverage infrastructure operations background to design, implement and maintain software build engineering process, product testing
#1 Requirement: At least 5+ years' experience in a dedicated J2EE or.Net software development role
#2 Requirement: At least 7+ years' experience in a DevOps role
#3 Requirement: Experience as listed below
- At least 12+ years Information Technology experience, such as consulting, operations, development, architecture, and/or DevOps engineering
- At least 5+ years of experience in DevOps, creating CI/CD pipelines with Github/Bitbucket using Jenkins, Ant, Maven
- At least 5+ years of experience with Linux system administration
- At least 5+ years of scripting experience with Python, Bash, Perl or Ruby
- Collaborate with developers, quality assurance, security, and all lead DevOps teams of implementation of new practices with migrations to AWS
- AWS: VPC, Cloudtrail, Cloudwatch, CloudFormation, AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, AWS Code Deploy
- Strong understanding of Git branching strategy, preferably Git flow
- Infrastructure automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation
- JBoss middleware experience
- Docker, Kubernetes or other containerization experience
- Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, Splunk
- Create CI/CD pipelines for all application teams
- Modernize and automate release management practices
- Ensuring operational best practices by working closely with the deployment/releasing teams
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
