As our Senior IT Engineer - Cloud and Security Operations, you will be the principal IT Engineer for all aspects of our IT operations ensuring seamless, secure, and effective management of our IT infrastructure. Your role will encompass a broad range of hands-on responsibilities from cloud administration and workspace management to maintaining our compliance posture with various standards. You will leverage your deep knowledge in cloud operations, monitoring, and service management to support our fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage our Active Directory in a cloud environment (Azure or AWS AD), with a strong emphasis on Group Policy Object (GPO) administration.
• Administer and optimize AWS or Azure Workspaces for efficient virtual desktop operations.
• Manage VPN infrastructure.
• Lead desktop and laptop provisioning, ensuring all devices comply with company standards and policies.
• Implement and manage IT service management tools to streamline IT operations and improve service delivery.
• Oversee the monitoring of IT systems to ensure health, performance, and security.
• Ensure compliance with PCI, SOC/SSAE16, or similar standards, leveraging experience in these areas to enhance our IT infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize Jira Service Management for IT service delivery and support.
• Oversee Windows/Mac MDM and BYOD policies and practices.
• Administer MS 365 Entra and AWS IAM to manage identities and access effectively.
• Implement and manage AWS Verified Access for secure connectivity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PagerDuty or similar, aligning with our 24/7 operational needs.
• Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, integral to our cloud-native approach.
• Knowledge of Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator/Data Loss Prevention, in sync with our zero-tolerance stance on data breaches.
• Knowledge of CrowdStrike Falcon XDR or similar for endpoint detection and response
• Experience with Jira Service Management.

Your Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in IT engineering, with a focus on cloud and security operations.
• Prior experience in achieving and maintaining compliance with PCI, SOC/SSAE16, or similar standards
• Proven track record in managing cloud-based Active Directory, VPNs, and desktop/laptop provisioning.
• Strong understanding of cloud operations including AWS or Azure environments.
• Experience with IT service management tools and monitoring systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
