Role Description

The Senior Investment Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Fe, NM. This role is responsible for managing client investment portfolios in conjunction with asset management partner, developing and implementing tailored investment strategies, and monitoring portfolio performance to align with client objectives and risk profiles. The Senior Investment Manager will provide recommendations to optimize returns and preserve capital. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to review goals, preparing investment proposals and reports, collaborating with wealth management and banking teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies in a fiduciary setting. This role also contributes to business development by identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and enhance Century Bank’s wealth management offerings.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Investment Management and Investments, with demonstrated experience overseeing diversified portfolios.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills and knowledge of Investment Strategies to evaluate market trends and make data-driven recommendations.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Finance, including understanding of financial instruments, risk management, and asset allocation.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior-level investment or wealth management role in a fiduciary setting.
• Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and build long-term trust.
• High level of integrity, sound judgment, and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to the growth of Century Bank’s wealth management business.
• create and present Financial Plans utilizing financial planning software to drive business development and ongoing client retention.
