Senior Investment Manager – Hedge Fund Allocations (Credit)
The Senior Investment Manager will be responsible for identifying, underwriting, and managing investments in external credit hedge fund managers . The role involves full ownership of the investment process — from sourcing and due diligence through to portfolio construction, performance monitoring, and ongoing manager engagement — with the goal of generating long‑term, risk‑adjusted returns that exceed benchmark expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in hedge fund allocation, structured credit investing, or credit portfolio management.
- Proven track record in analyzing and allocating to credit hedge fund strategies , with deep knowledge of the structured credit and securitized products landscape .
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to interpret complex risk and valuation models.
- Advanced understanding of financial instruments used in credit strategies (cash bonds, credit derivatives, structured tranches, leverage facilities, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of articulating complex investment concepts to senior stakeholders.
- Experience within a large fund, pension, endowment, or institutional allocator environment is highly desirable.
- CFA , CAIA , or advanced degree.
