We are working with a Louisiana based insurance defense Firm, looking for a Senior Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 8+ years of insurance defense experience. This role is remote.

Requirements:
- 8+ years of insurance defense experience
- Extensive experience working in a premises liability, general liability environment
- Commercial trucking experience is a plus
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Louisiana
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution.
- Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients.
- Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies.
- Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings
The annual salary for this position is between 175k-225k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
