Job Profile Summary

• The Senior, Inpatient Case Manager RN, assumes responsibility, accountability and leadership for the daily operations including coordination of work, quality, and service for inpatient case management.
• Assist supervisor for assigned site/function.
• Participates in the work activities of assigned teams and provides case management services as needed.
• Maintains fiscal accountability for departmental activities.
• Provides feedback on hiring and evaluations of personnel.
• Functions in one of the following practice settings: Hospitals only

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) REQUIRED

Certification/Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) in VA or NC or Compact/Multi-state REQUIRED
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Case Management (ACM, CCM, CCCTM, CMAC, or CMGT-BC) certification is required within one year of eligibility.

Experience

• 3 years nursing experience REQUIRED, preferred in Acute Care setting
• 3 years Case Management experience preferred
