Joining a small, high-leverage team, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will manage the reliability of Buffer's production platform, modernize infrastructure, and enhance developer tooling while working remotely with a preference for EMEA time zone overlap. Key responsibilities Own the day-to-day reliability of the production platform, ensuring fast and reliable CI/CD pipelines and effective incident response Build and implement progressive delivery systems, ensuring rapid rollback capabilities and enhancing developer tools as products Reduce operational toil through automation and AI, while keeping the infrastructure stack current and secure Required qualifications Extensive experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, SRE, or in a similar role, with a strong background in operating production Kubernetes at scale Proficiency in AWS services, Terraform, and CI/CD practices, particularly with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD Hands-on experience in building internal developer tools and a product-oriented mindset towards infrastructure Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog and Sentry, with a focus on cost-effective logging and metrics design Strong understanding of modern AI tools and their application in infrastructure management and automation
