A leading enterprise technology organization is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own critical infrastructure and network operations in a high-availability, mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day VMware (vSphere/ESXi) operations: lifecycle, performance, patching, backup/DR
• Support virtualization roadmap, including migration planning toward Nutanix-based platforms
• Optimize compute/storage platforms (Cisco UCS, SAN/NAS, FlexPod)
• Manage Azure workloads: networking, compute, security, cost optimization
• Operate Kubernetes clusters and support Docker containerized applications
• Implement L4/L7 load balancing and manage TLS/SSL certificate lifecycle
• Design/support enterprise LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, routing/switching, VPNs, QoS
• Administer firewalls (SonicWall, Cisco ASA, or Palo Alto)
• Maintain secure file transfer systems and support compliance-driven security controls
• Build Infrastructure-as-Code automation to improve reliability and reduce manual work
• Participate in on-call rotation for high-priority incidents
Must-Have Qualifications
• 5+ years in senior network/infrastructure roles (hybrid datacenter + cloud)
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, VMware, and Microsoft Azure
• Enterprise networking expertise: routing/switching, VPNs, QoS, packet analysis
• Firewall administration (SonicWall, ASA, or Palo Alto)
• Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange experience
• Working knowledge of SQL Server (AlwaysOn preferred)
• Strong change management and documentation discipline
Nice-to-Have
• Bachelor's degree + datacenter operations experience
• Certs: CCNA/CCNP, VCP, Nutanix NCP, AZ-104/305, Security+
• Experience with Cisco UCS, NetApp, FlexPod
• IIS/Tomcat, email security tooling familiarity
• Monitoring/ITSM tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Jira, WSUS, etc.)
