Senior Information Technology Manager

We're Hiring: Senior IT Manager | Railroad & Transportation Technology

Albertville, AL (preferred) | Southlake, TX | La Grange, IL

5 days onsite — required

Our direct client is looking for a seasoned IT leader to drive global technology initiatives and lead diverse technical teams supporting a global railroad and transportation business.

What You'll Do

• Lead teams across application development, data science, cloud architecture, and IT support.
• Oversee 24/7 global support operations with demanding SLAs.
• Drive enterprise application projects, budgets, timelines, and delivery.
• Partner with senior executives, global customers, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure alignment with commercial contracts, cybersecurity requirements, and customer service commitments.
• Mentor teams and drive operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of technology management experience.
• Experience leading application development in a global enterprise.
• Strong business acumen and customer-facing leadership skills.
• Experience managing diverse technical teams and mission-critical operations.
• Understanding of enterprise software, commercial contracts, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.

Railroad, transportation, or other asset-intensive industry experience is a plus.
