Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will DoPlanning/tracking for the manufacturing of aerospace flight components involving sheet metals and fiber reinforced composites.Conduct time studies, work sampling, and process capability analyses to optimize labor utilization, reduce bottlenecks, and improve throughput across manufacturing operations.Develop and implement standardized work, workflow optimization strategies, and capacity models to support production planning, resource allocation, and overall operational efficiency.Design and planning of cell layout for assembly and material handling.Investigates, establishes, and implements requirements for equipment, tooling, and material, including make or buy decisions and facility layout as required for new or revised products.Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and delivery performance.Interface with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Operations and Quality.Flexibility to occasionally support extended hoursTravel dependent on business needs (up to 20%)Qualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality, or closely related environment or a Master's degree and 3 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality, or closely related environmentKnowledge of manufacturing and assembly processesMicrosoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Project and Excel)Qualifications We Prefer:Industrial Engineering degreeProject management experienceExperience delivering communications and presentationsCORE Champion levelExperience with MRL processes and standardsThis position is classified as:Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
