- Designing and implementing common contract logistics processes.
- Driving continuous performance improvement.
- Providing engineering support for new and/or expanding business implementations.
- Supporting multifaceted operations and understanding client needs.
- Contributing to facility layout and design, including equipment determination.
- Leading & managing necessary vendors for physical implementation.
- Maintaining financial and engineering metrics to meet/exceed performance goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a supply chain (warehouse/4walls) environment.
- Prior leadership positions directing Logistics Engineers in 3PL/supply chain environment.
- Advanced knowledge of statistics.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications with advanced knowledge of Excel, Access and Power BI.
- Insight into a Warehouse Management Systems allowing for understanding of system capabilities.
- AutoCAD.
- Lean methodologies.
- Six Sigma tools.
- Knowledge of various storage methodologies as well as material handling equipment.
- Storage and process design.
