Key Responsibilities for the Senior Indirect Tax Manager:
• Lead the multi-state indirect tax function, including sales & use tax, excise tax, and other transaction-based taxes
• Drive tax planning initiatives, identify refund opportunities, and manage indirect tax risk across operating jurisdictions
• Advise leadership on market expansion, acquisitions, licensing, and regulatory developments
• Oversee complex audits, tax notices, and controversy matters while managing relationships with external advisors and taxing authorities
• Manage and develop tax team members while enhancing tax processes, controls, and technology
Qualifications for the Senior Indirect Tax Manager:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive indirect tax experience within a complex, multi-state organization
• Strong expertise in indirect tax
