Senior IBM Maximo Technical Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

• – We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another related technical field.
• – We require 8+ years of hands-on experience administering and engineering IBM Maximo environments.
• – We require extensive experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
• – We need advanced knowledge of IBM Maximo architecture, the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), automation scripting, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• – We require strong experience with Linux administration, shell scripting, Python, JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
• – We require experience with BIRT reporting, Microsoft Power BI, data modeling, and row-level security (RLS).
• – We require experience deploying and supporting Red Hat OpenShift environments.
• – We require experience configuring Maximo Mobile and Maximo Application Framework (MAF) applications.
• – We require experience integrating MAS with Microsoft Entra ID.
• – We require a strong understanding of secure authentication methods and API security.
• – We require excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical information to executive leaders and technical teams.
• – We require experience using Jira Service Management or a comparable issue-tracking platform.
• – We prefer experience supporting NASA or other federal government enterprise environments.
• – We prefer experience designing enterprise-scale integration architectures.
• – We prefer experience with MAS licensing and large-scale deployments.
• – We prefer experience with high availability, performance tuning, and observability tools.
• – We prefer experience with IBM TRIRIGA and/or Maximo Real Estate and Facilities (MREF).
• – We prefer IBM Certified Deployment Professional and/or IBM Certified Administrator credentials.
• – We prefer candidates who currently hold or have previously held a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• We will lead installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and ongoing administration of IBM Maximo Application Suite.
• We will design and implement enterprise-scale Maximo architecture that supports multiple organizations and sites.
• We will create and maintain automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
• We will configure and support the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), including REST API integrations.
• We will design secure enterprise integration architectures and apply authentication and API management standards.
• We will define integration messaging, monitoring, logging, and error-handling approaches.
• We will configure and administer Maximo Mobile, including single sign-on (SSO) implementations.
• We will configure applications using the Maximo Application Framework (MAF).
• We will manage user synchronization between Maximo Application Suite and Microsoft Entra ID.
• We will develop and support BIRT reports and Microsoft Power BI dashboards.
• We will implement row-level security (RLS) and enterprise data segregation requirements.
• We will perform data modeling to support business intelligence reporting initiatives.
• We will administer and troubleshoot Linux-based Maximo environments.
• We will support containerized deployments using Red Hat OpenShift.
• We will monitor system performance and recommend improvements for scalability, availability, and overall performance.
• We will prepare technical documentation and present project status and technical solutions to executive leadership, management, and customer organizations.
• We will manage technical issues and change requests using Jira Service Management or similar tools.
• We will collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, cybersecurity teams, and vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
