Join a growing organization seeking a Senior HR Generalist to serve as a hands-on HR partner to leaders and employees across the organization. This role will have broad exposure to recruiting, employee relations, compliance, performance management, HR operations, and organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong employment-law knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to coach leaders through complex workplace situations while helping build consistent, effective HR practices.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, job description development, compensation research, and hiring administration.
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to leaders and employees, providing practical guidance on policies, employee concerns, performance, and workplace matters.
- Manage employee relations matters, including fact-finding, conflict resolution, coaching, corrective action, and termination processes.
- Conduct and document workplace investigations and partner with HR leadership on sensitive employment matters, claims, and regulatory inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records while ensuring HR processes and practices remain compliant with applicable employment laws and internal policies.
- Analyze workforce data and trends related to turnover, staffing, attendance, engagement, and organizational health to identify opportunities and support leadership decisions.
- Support and improve HR programs and processes, including onboarding, performance management, training, offboarding, benefits, payroll, policy development, and organizational initiatives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience with significant exposure to recruiting, employee relations, investigations, compliance, and HR operations.
- Current PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification required.
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple locations or states.
- Experience partnering directly with operational leaders and coaching managers through employee relations and performance matters.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG, Paycom, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, emotional intelligence, and integrity when handling confidential employee matters.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasional travel to other company locations may be required.
Preferred: Experience supporting organizational change, restructuring, business transformation, or the development and implementation of HR programs such as onboarding, training, and performance management.
