Senior Human Resources Generalist

Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Senior HR Generalist to join a collaborative HR team in Centennial, CO! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, partnering with leadership, and making a meaningful impact across various HR functions.

The Senior HR Generalist will report directly to the HR Director and play an important role in supporting employee relations, leave administration, performance management, compliance, and HR operations. This person will also take ownership of key HR initiatives, contribute to process improvements, and provide backup support for payroll and benefits as needed.

Location: Centennial, CO

Schedule: Hybrid – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in office

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $44-$49 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership on employee relations matters, workplace concerns, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Support and administer leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, state leave programs, and workers' compensation.
• Take ownership of and help coordinate the organization's performance management cycle.
• Provide backup support for payroll and benefits administration during planned and unplanned absences.
• Assist with onboarding processes and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience.
• Support HR compliance initiatives, audits, documentation, and maintenance of FMLA records.
• Partner with leadership on policy updates, HR projects, process improvements, and technology enhancements.
• Assist with change management and leadership development initiatives.
• Provide general HR support across the employee lifecycle and collaborate with team members on department priorities.

Qualifications

• Ideally 7+ years of progressive HR experience; candidates with 5+ years of strong, relevant experience will also be considered.
• Previous experience in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or Employee Relations role.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with FMLA, ADA, state leave programs, workers' compensation, employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Experience supporting HR projects, process improvements, change management, or system implementations.
• Experience with leadership development initiatives is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with UKG Ready is preferred. ADP or other transferable HRIS experience will also be considered.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

Schedule & Location

• Located in Centennial, CO, near I-25 and Arapahoe Road.
• Hybrid schedule with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the office.
• During initial onboarding and training, the schedule will be Monday through Thursday in the office, with remote Fridays.
• Transitions to the regular hybrid schedule once fully trained.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an anticipated 12-month contract period and potential for permanent placement.
