Our client is seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to support employees and managers across multiple locations. This role serves as a trusted HR partner, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, compliance, and HR policies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned business units and locations
- Manage employee relations matters, investigations, performance issues, and terminations
- Support leave administration, workers' compensation, and compliance initiatives
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle activities
- Partner with leaders on recruiting, workforce planning, and talent initiatives
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist with benefits, compensation reviews, training, and HR reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of HR Generalist experience
- Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or similar environments preferred
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
