The University of Missouri Office of Human Resources providesleadership in the planning, integration, and implementation ofHuman Resource services and programs across the organization.Collectively with campus colleagues, we serve as a strategic andtrusted advisor, support a dynamic workforce, and pursue continuousimprovement through knowledge, collaboration, and leadership.
We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as a SeniorHuman Resources Consultant, Learning and OrganizationalDevelopment to design, deliver and continuously improvelearning experiences that build leadership and supervisorycapability across the University of Missouri System. This role willsupport the development and scaling of compliance-focusedsupervisor training programs, targeted supervisor communications,key staff development initiatives and flagship leadershipdevelopment programming. Additionally, this role will manageadministrative processes related to executive coaching vendors andprogram management.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic program architect and askilled human resources practitioner who designs and championsinnovative programs while serving as a trusted HR consultant,managing complex program logistics, and facilitating effectivetraining sessions.
Responsibilities
• Develop and scale a system-wide supervisor training program,including compliance curriculum and core supervisory skilldevelopment
• Serve as a consultant to supervisors on implementation oforganizational policies and practices
• Design, coordinate, and facilitate live training sessions in bothvirtual and in-person formats
• Develop and maintain a supervisor-focused communication seriesthat translates policies, initiatives, and best practices intoclear, actionable guidance
• Support the planning, logistics and facilitation of flagshipleadership development programs
• Manage administrative processes related to external executivecoaching services
• Lead the content strategy and coordination of an existingbiannual, system-wide staff development event
Shift
Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education andexperience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparableknowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, IndustrialOrganizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or a relatedfield
- Experience providing human resources consultation and guidanceto supervisors
- Demonstrated skill in delivering engaging presentations withconfidence and professionalism
- Experience designing and facilitating training programs invirtual and in-person formats
- Prior supervisory experience and the ability to apply thatexperience when training and coaching supervisors
- Experience interpreting and educating on policies related tosupervisory responsibilities
- Experience managing and coordinating the services of externalpartners
- Strong service orientation and demonstrated ability to buildand sustain trusted relationships with leaders and colleagues
Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
