Over the last 85 years, Trinity Industries has grown to over 6,000 employees strong with the common purpose of Delivering Goods, For the Good of All.What you'll do:Assemble fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies or complete units.Lay out reference points, position, align and fit together fabricated parts of metal or fiberglass mold according to blueprint and layout specifications fabrication.Utilize mechanical fastening (bolts, nuts, hucks)Apply appropriate torque sequence and values (certified)Read blueprintsOperate overhead cranesUtilize hand tools to bend or form partsFollow all safety rules and practicesBe involved in safety committees or initiatives, as neededPerform other duties as assignedWhat you'll need:Minimum of 2 years of experienceCapable of manually applying torque up to 760 ft?lbs in accordance with job requirementsAbility to read and understand blueprintsExperience using hand and power toolsReliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
