Senior Hardware Design EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our multi-site development team and contribute to the creation of advanced hardware products. In this dynamic and technically challenging environment, you will design state-of-the-art electronic hardware used worldwide. Although this position is centered on electronic hardware design, you will collaborate closely across disciplines and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of modern, complex system development.
This includes hardware, software, and logic design; design for test and manufacturability; thermal and mechanical engineering; requirements definition and management; and other key engineering functions.Key Responsibilities:Drive all phases of instrument design—from concept development, prototyping, and simulation through schematic creation, PCB layout, verification, documentation, and release to manufacturing.Design and develop complex electronic circuits, including high-performance digital and power systems.Collaborate effectively with large, diverse cross-functional teams across engineering (Software, FPGA, Mechanical, QA, Factory Applications) and non-engineering groups (Marketing, PMO, NPI, and others).Lead sub-project teams through full development cycles, ensuring alignment, progress, and high-quality outcomes.Facilitate structured decision-making processes and guide engineering teams toward timely, data-driven conclusions.Communicate clearly and confidently at all levels—from deep technical discussions with fellow engineers to high-level product strategy presentations for senior leadership.Requirements:BSEE or MSEE6+ years of relevant industry experienceThe ideal candidate should have deep understanding of analog mixed-signal design with experience in high-speed serial links.Experience with Tx/Rx equalization techniques and circuits like de-emphasis, CTLE, DFEExperience with high speed digital circuits (e.g., serializer, deserializer, counters, dividers, etc.)Experience in lab testing of high-speed serial linksAbility to lead engineering teams/sub-teams through design of experiments, root cause/corrective action exercisesExcellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skillsSolid verbal and written skillsSolid presentation skillsExperience working in cross-functional teams designing electro-mechanical systemsCommitment to excellence, efficiency, and product qualityNew product development with complex designs and PCBs, high current density, high speed design, complex mixed signalHigh speed signal integrity, power integrityBasic understanding of the ATE industryHigh performance instrumentation designProven track record of completing multiple product design cycles from concept to high volume productionBenefits:The base salary range for this role is $106,900- 171,100. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. Will relocate and Hybrid work is available.
