Supporting the research community remotely, the full-time Senior Pre-Award Grant Administrator will review, negotiate, and administer externally funded research grants and contracts while serving as the primary liaison with external sponsors and managing all aspects of grant proposals and awards. Key responsibilities Review and submit grant proposals on behalf of the university, ensuring compliance with sponsor and institutional regulations Set up new awards and process changes to existing awards in the financial system, overseeing grant management from proposal submission to closeout Provide leadership and training to the grants and contracts manager within the cluster, fostering a collaborative working environment Required qualifications Bachelor's degree 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible experience in grants management within a university or non-profit setting Knowledge of NIH funding mechanisms, including R01, P01, P30, and T32 proposals Demonstrated financial accounting skills and proficiency in Excel Proven experience with financial systems and cost accounting standards related to grants and contracts management
