Both people had been there for 20+ years and left to do something “fun”. 3 major types of tasks. They have about 50 applications roughly that this team develops and maintains. Web applications.
This person will have a portion of those applications that they are responsible for maintaining. There will also be new projects that come down the pipe- developing new applications.Bringing an old application up to present in .NET.Agile approach.Responsible for break fixes.The team size is 8 people. 5 of them are GIS specialists (not developers). This person will still be working alongside the specialists. One other senior developer, a junior developer, and a systems administrator.Monitoring the work of others and supervising if needed.Day to day responsibilities/typical day look like:Had 2 people retire recently.
