Their team of professionals is made up of approximately 200 employees located throughout Missouri, Florida, and Arkansas. They are looking for enthusiastic team members to be a part of their firm’s family. Our client has an immediate opening for a Geotechnical Engineering Department Leader. This position requires a self-motivated engineer that can maintain strong client relationships and provide outstanding customer service.Responsibilities May Include:Project managementPrepare proposals and review contractsAnalyze geotechnical engineering boring logs and other dataPerform geotechnical calculationsMake assessments and write technical reportsOversee drilling equipment operationsOversee geotechnical laboratory testing for reportsEstimating quantities & construction costsConstruction phase servicesPerform tasks under the supervision of Principal Geotechnical Engineer and Field Services Vice President in planning projects, preparing reports, engineering calculations.Qualifications:B.S.
in Geology Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar fieldLicensed P.E desired6+ years Geotechnical experience desiredHave the knowledge of geotechnical drilling, including soil sampling, rock coring, groundwater measurements, and planning geotechnical explorations.Ability to work with supervision of Project Engineer or Department Manager in planning projects, preparing reports, calculations.A comprehensive benefits package is offered to all employees, along with a work environment that encourages growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.
