We’re working with an engineering-first consultancy that’s redefining how cloud, data, and AI solutions are delivered across enterprise environments. Their model is simple: empower exceptional engineers with the autonomy, tools, and trust to do impactful work—without the red tape.

They’re now looking for a Senior GCP Cloud Enginee r to design and build secure, scalable infrastructure in Google Cloud, with a focus on automation, developer experience, and enabling AI/ML capabilities.

About the Role

You’ll lead the technical delivery of complex cloud platforms, combining infrastructure design with hands-on implementation. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and enterprise clients to architect GCP-native environments that enable scalability, automation, and modern development practices.

This isn’t a slide-deck role—you’ll be hands-on with tools like Terraform, GKE, Vertex A I, and CI/CD pipelines, helping clients implement secure, production-grade systems.

What You'll Do

• Lead Infrastructure Design & Deliver y – Architect and implement secure, scalable GCP environments using native services.
• Build Developer-First Pipeline s – Design CI/CD systems that streamline code deployment and ensure security and observability by default.
• Enable AI & ML Platform s – Support the implementation of services like Vertex AI, Gemini, model servin g, and vector store s, laying the cloud foundation for advanced AI workloads.
• Own Kubernetes (GKE) Deployment s – Design and manage container orchestration with security, federation, and automation in mind.
• Automate Infrastructur e – Use tools like Terraform, CDKTF, and KC C to build immutable, version-controlled infrastructure.
• Promote Best Practice s – Guide internal and client teams on cloud security, IaC, networking, and scalable system design.
• Stay Curious & Share Knowledg e – Continuously explore new tools, patterns, and ideas—and contribute back through mentoring or internal sharing.

What We're Looking For

• Deep expertise in GCP service s including GKE, BigQuery, BigLake, DataFlow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, IAM, Workflows, Spanner.
• Strong Kubernete s background with experience managing GKE clusters, CRDs, IAM integrations, and job scheduling.
• Mastery of Infrastructure-as-Cod e tooling (Terraform, CDK, KCC, etc.).
• Solid understanding of network architectur e across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Experience in secure, regulated environment s (e.g., fintech, healthcare, enterprise).
• Track record of building secure SDL C pipelines (artifact scanning, signing, CI/CD frameworks).
• Proficiency in Python and/or Jav a.
• Familiarity with Policy-as-Cod e, observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and cloud-native securit y best practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams and with clients.
• A continuous learning mindset and willingness to mentor others.
