As part of our New York Trade Floor Support team, you will play a key role in monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing the bank's critical technology infrastructure. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, minimize operational disruptions, and build partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure seamless trading operations.To be successful as a Senior FX Trading System Engineer - AVP, you should have:Considerable knowledge of electronic trading platforms and FX market workflows, including trade lifecycle management, pricing, and risk management processes, with experience supporting FIX protocol and ECN connectivityPractical experience with scripting and automation using Shell, Python, and Perl, as well as database querying and scriptingSolid experience supporting and managing cloud-based applications and infrastructure, particularly within AWS environmentsProficient in using enterprise support and monitoring tools, including AutoSys, ServiceFirst, and ITRS GeneosOther highly valued skills include:Self-motivated, resourceful, and highly adaptable, with the confidence to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environmentSolution focused, problem solver with a good automation mindset, experienced in performing root cause analysis, enhancing service stability, and developing scripts and tools to streamline support processes and reduce manual overheadExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and incident management skills, with a proven ability to lead major incident bridges, engage effectively with Front Office and technology teams, and drive issues through to resolution with full ownership and accountabilityFlexible and dependable, with a willingness to support extended hours and provide weekend coverage when required to meet business and operational needsYou may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.This role is located in our New York, New York office.Minimum Salary: $115,000Maximum Salary: $160,000The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate.
