We’re partnering with a growing alternative investment manager looking to add a Senior Fund Accountant to its New York finance team. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking for broader exposure, increased ownership, and a long-term path toward Manager and Controller-level responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage key aspects of the monthly and quarterly fund accounting close

• Review NAVs, capital accounts, allocations, and reconciliations

• Prepare and review management fees, carried interest, and distributions

• Oversee and coordinate with third-party fund administrators

• Support quarterly and annual financial statement preparation

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax providers, and other service partners

• Assist with capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting

• Gain exposure to valuations and underlying investment activity

• Participate in process improvements and other finance initiatives as the platform grows

What They’re Looking For:

• 3–6+ years of fund accounting or relevant investment management experience

• Background within an alternative investment manager, fund administrator, or public accounting firm

• Experience with private equity, private credit, real estate, or other alternative investment products preferred

• Strong understanding of NAVs, capital activity, allocations, and financial reporting

• Someone looking to take on more ownership and continue progressing within fund finance
