A leading private equity firm is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting fund operations including capital calls and distributions, valuations, cash monitoring, and management fee calculations. The role offers strong exposure to the full fund accounting lifecycle and the chance to gain hands-on private equity fund accounting experience.
The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years from fund accounting, fund administration, or public accounting with private equity clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee fund accounting and cash activity including capital calls, distributions, fees, and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements, performance reporting, and audit materials
- Manage investor reporting and LP communications, including notices and ad hoc requests
- Support fund launches, process improvements, and junior team development
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years from fund accounting, fund administration, or public accounting with private equity clients
- Private equity fund accounting experience
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly organized
