Senior Fullstack Software Engineer - (Customer Journey)San Francisco, California, United StatesThe OpportunityThe Customer Journey team at Postman is responsible for shaping how users experience the product from their first interaction through to becoming active, engaged customers.We own the critical paths between sign-up and purchase including new user onboarding and the moments where users discover and adopt key features. As Postman expands what it means to be a customer, from enterprise organizations to teams of engineers to individual developers working with AI agents, this team plays a central role in defining and evolving those experiences.We're looking for a Senior Engineer who is excited to build and improve product journeys end-to-end. You'll work at the intersection of product, design, and engineering to create intuitive, high-quality experiences that help users find value in Postman—whether they're exploring on their own or collaborating as part of a team.What You'll DoOwn and improve key product journeys from sign-up through onboarding, feature discovery, and purchaseBuild and refine user experiences that help developers and teams quickly understand and realize the value of PostmanDesign and implement features that drive adoption of core platform capabilities across different user types (individuals, teams, and AI-assisted workflows)Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data to identify opportunities and prioritize improvements across the user journeyUse experimentation and analytics to inform decisions and validate the impact of changesDevelop a deep understanding of how developers use Postman—individually and collaboratively—and apply those insights to improve the productIterate quickly, delivering thoughtful, incremental improvements that compound over timeContribute to the evolution of our onboarding and discovery systems as the product and customer base continue to growAbout YouMust have:8+ years of experience building frontend or full-stack applications with a focus on product and user experienceStrong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; experience with modern frameworks like React or Next.jsTrack record of building and improving product experiences that drive user engagement and adoptionExperience using data, analytics, or experimentation to guide product decisionsStrong product sense and attention to detail—you care deeply about how things work and feelAbility to take ownership of ambiguous problem spaces and drive them to clear outcomesExcellent communication skills and experience collaborating across functionsCuriosity about how developers work, and a desire to build tools that make them more effectiveNice-to-have:Experience with full-stack JavaScript / TypeScriptExperience with state management tools like MobXExperience working on B2B products, developer tools, or AI-powered experiencesExperience working in a fast-paced, startup environmentThis role is based in the greater San Francisco area, and the reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $210,000 to $240,000 plus a competitive equity package.
