• CollaboratewithbusinessandITdecisionmakerstodiscussuserinterfacerequirementsandbrainstormideas.

• Useresponsivewebdesigntocreateapplicationsthatautomaticallyconformtomultiplescreensizes/devices.

• Usecodingtodeveloptheaestheticsimplementedwithinawebsiteorproduct,fromthelayoutmenusanddrop-downoptionstocolorsandfonts.

• KeepupwiththelatesttrendsandbestpracticesofUI/UXdesignandHCI(human-computerinteraction).

• Usevisualaidssuchaswireframes,storyboards,andUIflowcharts,toplanandpresentuserinterfacedesigns.

• WieldtheirknowledgeofSearchEngineOptimization(SEO)todevelopsearch-friendlywebsitesandinterfaces.

• WorkcloselywiththeotherDevelopmentandQAteammemberstoimproveusability.

• AdheretoSDLCandDevelopmentprocesses,codingstandardsandbestpractices.

• Troubleshootvariousproductsandbusinessapplicationsalreadyinproductionasneeded.

• Attendovernightreleases,whenneeded.

• Achieveoperationalexcellencebyautomatingprocessesandwritingmaintainable,supportable,andtestablecode.

What you'll bring

• 8+yearsofexperienceinbuildingwebservicesinRESTusingJava,SpringBootframework, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Microservices architecture

• 8+yearsofhands-onexperienceinfront-endwebdevelopmentlanguages,i.e.,HTML,CSS,andJavaScript.

• 8+years' experienceinadvancedJavaScriptlibrariesandframeworks,suchasAngularJS,ReactJS,VueJS,Bootstrapetc.

• 8+yearsofexperienceinbuildingwebservicesinSOAPand/orRESTusingJava,Spring/SpringBootframework.

• StrongexperienceworkingcollaborativelyusingAgile/Scrummethodologyisessential.

• SolidexperiencewithGit,GitHubandDevOpstoolslikeJenkins,SonatypeNexusrepository

• FluentincomplexSQLandexperiencedinDB2,OracleorSQLserverpreferred.

• Experiencewithdatastreaming(i.e.Kafka),datamessagingandeventdrivensystems.

• Experiencewithmodernagilesoftwaredeliverypracticessuchasscrum,continuousintegrationanddelivery(CI/CD),TDD,andBDD,DevOps,andautomation.

• ExperiencewithaversioncontrolsystemlikeGit/GitHub

• Excellentcommunication,organizationalandinterpersonalskillsrequired.

• Strongproblem-solvingskills.

• Bachelor'sDegreeor equivalent experience.

Worldpay is dedicated to offering individuals rewarding career opportunities and competitive compensation. For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $108,200.00-$163,400.00. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role’s responsibilities, level, and geographic location. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate’s experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
