About the Role

360X Staffing has invested in building a proprietary software platform to power our operations. We are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Full-Stack Developer & AI Technology Lead to take ownership of our codebase, lead technical innovation, and establish our future technology direction.

This is not a ticket-taking role. Working directly with executive leadership, you will lead hands-on platform engineering, integrate practical AI automations across departments, and collaborate with our external development consulting partner. For the right high-performing leader, this position offers a clear trajectory into a Director of Technology or Chief Technology Officer (CTO) role.

Core Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Engineering & Platform Ownership: Lead hands-on development, enhancements, and performance optimization across our entire tech stack: Ruby on Rails (backend), React (web frontend), and React Native with Expo (mobile).
• AI & Workflow Automation: Identify, build, and deploy practical AI solutions (LLM APIs, automated pipelines, smart tooling) to eliminate manual administrative bottlenecks in recruiting, payroll, sales, and operations.
• Partner & Vendor Collaboration: Act as internal technical lead alongside our third-party software development consulting firm—driving code reviews, aligning sprint priorities with business goals, and progressively bringing architecture management in-house.
• KPI Dashboards & Business Intelligence: Architect centralized, real-time reporting dashboards for executive leadership to monitor departmental KPIs, operational health, and company performance.
• Technical Strategy & Roadmap: Set code quality, security, and deployment standards, guiding architecture decisions to support long-term company scaling.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of production full-stack software development experience with demonstrated ownership of scalable, complex systems.

Technical Stack:

• Strong mastery of Ruby on Rails backend architecture and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Solid modern JavaScript / React web development.
• Practical experience building or maintaining mobile apps with React Native / Expo.
• AI & Automation Mindset: Practical experience or strong capability integrating commercial AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) into production business applications.
• Leadership & Business Acumen: Ability to translate business problems into clean technical solutions, interface directly with company owners, and operate with high autonomy.

Location & Presence: Must reside in the Phoenix metropolitan area (or relocate immediately) and be available to work 100% on-site in our Phoenix office five days per week. No remote or hybrid flexibility is available for this role.
