Location: Dallas, TX (mostly remote, but need to be local to Dallas)

Summary As part of their rapid growth phase, they are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead their technical efforts. This role offers significant ownership over the entire technology stack, opportunities to shape product development, and utilize AI tools daily. Ideal candidates will possess deep technical expertise, a startup mindset, and a passion for building scalable, AI-driven applications from scratch.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building and maintaining production full-stack applications
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and React/Next.js
• Experience designing scalable backend systems and data models
• Familiarity with search systems, document processing, and data indexing
• Hands‑on experience integrating large language models (LLMs), vector search, or AI services a plus
• Capable of operating effectively in a high‑ownership startup environment
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical decisions clearly

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack development of AI‑first applications with Node.js and React/Next.js
• Collaborate closely with product management to define technical solutions and roadmap
• Design and implement scalable search, data storage, and retrieval systems
• Build and optimize pipelines for processing large volumes of documents and metadata
• Integrate AI features such as document understanding, search, and knowledge retrieval
• Manage and refine AI‑generated code to ensure robustness and maintainability
• Establish and uphold engineering standards across architecture, testing, and code quality
• Participate in customer calls to explain technical approaches when needed
• Use AI coding tools regularly to speed up development, debugging, and refactoring
