I've just partnered with a fast-growing series A fintech who are building next-generation financial infrastructure at the intersection of AI, compute, and capital markets. They've built financial and blockchain products facilitating hundreds of millions in transaction volume across diverse asset types. This is a chance to join early, work directly with founders, and shape a category-defining product. They are looking for a technical lead to take ownership of the core product experience and technical direction, leading development of mission-critical, borrower-facing platforms.
What you'll do
- Lead full-stack development and system architecture for core products
- Build and scale high-performance, secure web applications
- Integrate complex backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines
- Partner closely with founders on product strategy and roadmap prioritisation
- Drive engineering best practice across performance, scalability, and reliability
- Mentor engineers and help shape a high-calibre technical team
Key requirements
- 6+ years of experience
- Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Full Stack Engineer
- Strong front-end and back-end engineering capability (modern JS frameworks + backend systems)
- Exposure to fintech, distributed systems, or crypto/DeFi is highly beneficial
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
- Strong product mindset - able to translate business problems into technical solutions
