Senior Full Stack EngineerLocation: Atlanta, GAJob Type: Contract / Contract to HireJob Description: 5+ years of working experience in design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume software systems and components, client-facing web applications, and major Internet-oriented applications and systems as a full stack developer using one of the following: Java, Python, or Scala. Design, code, test, correct, and document software, data solutions, web apps, or prototypes using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result. Gathers and processes raw, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data using batch and real-time data processing frameworks. Understand and comply with relevant architectural policies and procedures, taking responsibility for assessing and managing risks around the use of information. Design, review, implement, and optimize data transformation processes in streaming, relational databases, and/or NoSQL in cloud environments.
Experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST APIs or SOAP APIs. Working experience in data ingestions including streaming, batch processing, and real-time data processing frameworks and storage. Working experience in continuous integration, testing, and deployment. Working experience in Dev Ops environment including Jenkins, Terraform, and Cloud Formation or similar technologies in a different cloud environment. Team contributor to active discussions and meetings. Good communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Prior experience of working on B2B e-Commerce platforms is desirable. Architect should provide tactical environment designs that can meet current needs, but also have the flexibility to scale and adapt to future business requirements.
