Senior Full-Stack DeveloperKelmar's Full-Stack Developers build and enhance web applications in Angular and Spring Boot, drive technical quality through code reviews and testing practices, and mentor junior developers as they grow.Our web applications serve more than 40 state government clients—running on AWS with a mix of serverless and containerized workloads including Lambda, EKS, Fargate, backed by MySQL and OpenSearch.This is a senior individual contributor role where you'll lead projects from requirements through delivery, shape technical direction, and directly influence a product used by millions of people. This is a remote position.Responsibilities And Duties:Develop and enhance web applications using Angular and Spring BootImplement features that improve user experience, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices / browsersCreate sustainable, well-documented code and advise on technical debt reductionBuild reusable code and libraries for use across applicationsOptimize site performance, localization, authentication/authorization, and SEOWrite and maintain unit and integration tests; participate in the design of CI/CD workflowsAnalyze code and communicate detailed, actionable reviews to development teamsApply cloud-native patterns to ongoing platform innovationDevelop applications that run in serverless (AWS Lambda) or managed Kubernetes environments (AWS EKS, Fargate)Participate in occasional client-facing meetingsLead projects, feature requests from requirements through deliveryMentor junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidanceSupport deployment and maintenance activities, off-hours, as neededOccasional travel for internal meetings (<10%)Qualifications:5+ years of development experience working within a modern full-stack web application environmentBachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or commensurate experienceStrong experience with AngularExperience with Spring or Spring BootExperience with relational databases (MySQL preferred), including schema design, query optimization, and data modelingFamiliarity with search technologies such as OpenSearch/ElasticsearchProficiency with Git-based workflowsFamiliarity with automated testing practices and CI/CD pipelinesAbility to review and interpret client requests with product owners and analystsComfortable working independently with limited supervisionStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesFamiliarity with other front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or similarAWS certifications (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect, or equivalent)Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the futureSalary & Benefits: Compensation for this role varies depending on several factors including work location, level of experience, and skill set.
