Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or Senior Financial Controller within a CPA firm OR
- Experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or Senior Financial Controller at a $10M+ revenue construction company
- 7+ years of progressive full-charge accounting experience
- 7+ years of QuickBooks Online and Desktop experience (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
- Experience in construction, hospitality, or healthcare
- High level of discretion, ethics, and professionalism
- Currently live a reasonable commuting distance from Downtown, Naples. This is a 100% on-site position
Primary Responsibilities
- Full-charge bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Manage A/P, A/R, general ledger, and bank/credit card reconciliations
- Payroll coordination and payroll tax filings (quarterly and annual)
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- WIP tracking and job cost accounting (construction experience preferred)
- Monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement preparation
- Balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
- Support tax preparation and responding to CPA requests
- Monitor internal controls and identifying discrepancies
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with training and documentation standards
